you also want to make sure you are dressed accordingly as many temples have strict rules and dress codes.
there are many different areas within bali as well; seminyak, ubud, canguu, etc. research each one and stay near the area that best suits you!
i’ve always been a little dress obsessed and this beautiful floral print with an open back and tie is easily one of my favorite go-to’s. i’m wearing a size 2 with a little give. free people typically runs oversized, but i would say this number is TTS. the size 0 fit snug, but i always opt for a looser fit, so snagged a size 2. with the tie back, you can adjust the size you get to fit you accordingly, so if you’re between sizes and like a snug fit, go down. if you like a looser style, like i do, go up a size.

back on the home front, david and i are officially back and living stateside and it has been amazing! we may have been running at 150mph the last couple of weeks, but there is truly no place like home.
best of all we’re receiving our ‘home goods’ shipment today. in army lingo, that means all of our belongings have made their way across the ocean and have officially landed in texas! since texas is our home for just the summer [announcement for our big move this fall coming soon] it’s all going straight to storage for now!
